LET CHRIST BE BORN IN OUR HEARTS AND LIVES!!

 

Birth of  a child brings joy, happiness and hope in the lives of a couple and to the family!  How  much more hope and joy should the  birth of Christ, the Savior,  bring into our lives. On this very day, as we submerge in the depths of  X-mas celebration, its wise we ponder in our hearts on the amazing and uncontainable  love of Christ,  who humbled himself  as a human being for the redemption of our sins and save us to the eternity! 

Circumstances of our life might have made you assume different meanings for the birth of Jesus Christ.  But  the good news that brings  great joy to all people, irrespective of your caste and creed wants us to realize what bible conveys about His birth.

•  To give us eternal life-   whoever believes in Jesus Christ shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16) . its an assurance our Lord Jesus Christ have given to anyone who believes in Him.  We are to believe that His Birth, life on earth, crucifixion and Resurrection was for our salvation from our sins and curses. 

•  Savior- He has born as the savior of all mankind, from his depth of sin and curse to the enlightened peace of joy and eternity. He is the Messiah, the Lord.  ( Luke 2:11)

•  Make us righteous from our sins- as no healthy gentle man care to attend a polyclinic for a general body check up, if you feel you are righteous , His birth is meaningless. He came to call the sinners out of the slops of inequities and purify us to the standards of eternity. ( Mark 2:7). His wounds on the cross was to  bear our known and unknown sins, to let us live righteous. (1 Peter 2:24)

• Demonstrate humility – Christ humbled himself, made himself nothing, took the very  nature of a servant, being made in human likeness, and remained obedient till Cross. (Philippians 2:6 to 11) . This humility of Christ if reflected in us, this world will become a better place to live in.

• Bind up the broken heart- Binds the broken heart, care the helpless, wipes your tears and bears your burden. He assured rest to all who are weary and bears burden. ( Mathew 11:28

•  Conduct of life-  he have demonstrated  us the life style we are to live in our daily lives   to attain all the above mentioned  heavenly  Joy on earth and eternity. (John 14:6).  

•  Joy- His birth guaranteed joy to all , with assured peace. ( Luke 2:10). Once you believe in His salvation and begin to live a life in His code  of conduct and  humility you will begin to enjoy the eternal joy. 

As we celebrate this Christmas and testify ourselves as Christians, we are to corroborate ourselves that,  we have enjoyed this eternal joy in our life and received the salvation that Christ assured us.
